Yakima 8004087 DoubleHaul 4 Fly Rod Car Roof Rack Enclosed Carrier transports up to 4 fully strung-up rods up to 10 ft in length. This rooftop fly rod carrier may be configured to either 11ftt or 6ftt lengths. Rain or shine, your rods are securely locked and protected from the elements. DoubleHaul's reel box is designed to protect and fit most reel sizes, with space to carry up to 2 spey rods. The Yakima 8004087 DoubleHaul 4 Fly Rod Car Roof Rack Enclosed Carrier mounts to most roof racks with a simple, tool free, universal crossbar attachment. With modern styling and an optional half length configuration, it’s a perfect fit on any size vehicle. The top 2 reel slots fit most 12-weight reels and the bottom 2 reel slots fit most 10-weight reels. The reel box holds common fighting butts of single handed rods and up to 2 spey rods in the upper slots. Four individual plastic lined aluminum rod tubes provide strength and separation for rods while helping prevent abrasion. Side placement of reels reduces wear on rod stripping guides and eyelets. The Yakima 8004087 DoubleHaul is built with custom fitted felt padding for premium reel protection. DoubleHaul's universal mounting hardware fits all Yakima crossbars and most other aftermarket roof racks. The Yakima SmarT-Slot Kit 3 attaches to T-slot crossbars for an even sleeker profile (sold separately). Yakima SKS Locks are included to secure rods inside of the DoubleHaul and lock the DoubleHaul to your roof rack.
