Motorhomes with a hitch receiver that is 72 inches or greater from the rear axle is considered an RV
Motorhomes without a hitch receiver are considered RVs if the distance from the rear axle to the back of the rear bumper is 72” or greater
Travel trailers are always considered RVs in the rack industry, regardless of their size
Camper vans are sometimes considered RVs, but this depends on the specific van. Some camper vans are classified as trucks or vans, while others are classified as RVs.
